SI-RF Series RFID Safety Switches
Simply cascade each safety switch together in series; device data can be collected and transmitted to IO-Link by our ISD-to-IO-Link Converter, and accessed remotely via HMI, PLC, or other mobile devices.
SI-RF Series safety switches utilize RFID technology to monitor doors, gates, and other movable mechanical safeguards that separate personnel and equipment from a hazard. They will send a signal to the machine control system to prevent or stop hazardous situations when the guard is not in the proper position.
- Single and cascade models available to protect one or multiple entry points
- Status and performance data from each sensor in a cascade chain is available using In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) and can be accessed with an HMI or similar device
